Peter Tan is the Regional Senior Vice President, and a founding member of the UCSI Blue Ocean Strategy Regional Centre (UCSI BOSRC). He has a wide range of experiences in senior management, entrepreneurship, business start-ups and project management.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering and a Masters of Engineering from the University of Canterbury in New Zealand. He also has an MBA from the University of Malaya.
He has a unique combination of skills in areas such as Engineering, Senior Management, Education, Training and Consulting. He was also involved in the start up of a hand built sports car manufacturing company, a private school, and a skin science centre.
Prior to his current position, he was the founder, principal and shareholder of a private primary and secondary school in Malaysia, also under the UCSI Group. As the school was established, it was handed to others to manage while he remains as director and shareholder.
Peter is a certified trainer and specializes in providing training and consultancy with the Blue Ocean Strategy Methodology.
Luciano Pezzotta is the Regional Lead Consultant for UCSI Blue Ocean Strategy Regional Centre. He is based in Thailand.
Luciano is an experienced management consultant with a strong background in international management and business strategy and a particular focus on strategic innovation.
His experience includes more than a decade of consulting internationally for high profile start-ups, small and medium enterprises, public organizations and large corporations in sectors such as banking, life sciences, energy and media. Luciano is certified as a Blue Ocean Strategy Practitioner by Professors Kim and Mauborgne, co-creators of Blue Ocean Strategy.
As the Regional Lead Consultant for UCSI BOSRC, Luciano is responsible for delivering keynote lectures at conferences and public events, conducting in-house seminars and workshops, as well as designing and leading consulting engagements to help companies and public organizations adopt Blue Ocean Strategy and develop innovative corporate and business strategies.
